Physically mature, with a strong forehand and a compact overall build, Sotavento is the final horse in the November edition of the Verdener High Level Auction. At thirteen years of age, he performs the full range of advanced-level movements securely and with pleasing expression, supported by his natural cadence. He also shows talent for the beginnings of piaffe and passage, which add variety to his daily training. His most recent competition success came at Medium level. Since then, he has been consistently presented in Medium, S* classes, although he did not achieve a placing with his young rider of Spanish origin. A change in the organisation of his Baden-Württemberg home yard is currently taking place, and Sotavento fits well into the current auction concept.
