The colour known in German breeding as fox-isabell remains something special in the German riding horse, and in Zitao it is particularly striking alongside his light, abundant mane and tail and his well-developed neck and hindquarter muscling. At the Verdener High Level Auction, the six-year-old attracts attention not only through his distinctive overall appearance but also through his age-appropriate training at Medium level. At competitions he has already demonstrated secure movements up to young-horse dressage class L with Christiane Peters. The Medium-level movements, including half-pass and flying changes, are also developed and available. Zitao performs them with a consistently contented overall picture and impresses with his security in the movements. Away from dressage, too, he is a pleasure, enjoying hacking out and jumping with confidence.
