Eagle Dyhre is an attractive colt with a good, energetic canter and all the qualities of a promising prospect for the future show jumping arena.
The dam Gabi is out of an interesting mare line with several top performing horses. She is the sister of the two 150cm horses Crokke and Conrad by Contendros. Crokke has been sold to Australia and Conrad has just participated in the European Championship finals with the Swedish rider Emil Jönsson and qualified to the WC.
Gabi herself is the mother of U2 TD DWB, who rides under Camille Silke Pless Wendelboe. Together they have achieved top positions at the Danish championships, participated at the Young Horse Championship in Herning and the WCYH in Zangersheide. Gabi is also the mother of the 1.40m horse Dyhre ́s DJ Lykke who participated in the championship final in Herning, where he was placed no. 5.
The father Epleaser by For Pleasure, stands as one of the most influential sires of the modern era, with the highest percentage of 1.60 m offspring worldwide. A proven force in both elite sport and breeding, he partnered with Christian Ahlmann to claim major victories including the Grand Prix of Villach–Treffen and the Nations Cup of Aachen. Throughout his consistent career on the CSI5* stage, Epleaser Z recorded over 20 top placings at 1.60m level and retired with close to €1 million in prize money.
