Grønvangs Diamant is an expressive and well-conformed colt out of a highly accomplished and performance-proven dam line distinguished by its scope, carefulness, and international potential.

His dam, Hennina Ask, descends from one of Stutteri Ask’s strongest and most proven mare families. She is by Canstakko and out of the silver medal mare Henni Ask, who herself competed up to 1.60m with Norwegian rider Simon Rahbek Yde. Henni Ask is the sister of several top performers, including the licensed stallions Caper Ask (1.50m), Hait Ask (1.50m), Canon Ask (1.45m), Henrietta Ask (1.45m) and the showjumping stallion Cyrano Ask. This is a family known for producing horses with scope, carefulness and international potential.

The strength of the dam line continues through the next generations. Hennina Ask’s granddam, Henna Ask, is an elite mare and B horse in showjumping. She produced Canon Ask, selected for the Danish Warmblood stallion licensing, finalist at the World Breeding Championship in Zangersheide as both a six and seven year old, and now competes successfully in Canada. Further back stands the legendary Heide Ask, a mare who jumped 160cm, won the Danish Championships with Lone Kromann, and represented Denmark at both the Olympic Games and the World Championships.

Grønvangs Diamant is sired by Diarado by Diamant de Semilly, the internationally renowned stallion who impressed early in his career with a Bundeschampionat score of 9,3. Diarado is celebrated for producing offspring with exceptional rideability, carefulness and athletic scope, qualities that have made his progeny successful at top level worldwide.
