This black beauty of Donatus is a one in a million for serious sport as much as for breeding. Only broken for short, she already convinces with very powerful smooth gaits. In addition to an energetic and expressive trot, she shows us a regular and relaxed walk that flows through the body with a lot of back activity. Particularly noticeable is the light-footed and expansive canter, which shows the enormous development potential of this wonderful mare. With a soft leaning and a lot of seating comfort, it conjures a smile on the rider's face in daily work and, thanks to its interesting bloodline, is also an interesting jewel for versatility. She is blessed with an extraordinary learning aptitude and is so willing to please. The father Donatus is a premium stallion who was successful in dressage up to Inter I. Dark Rose's dam is the state premium mare Likota, who is also mother of the auction mare Lascada. The dam's sire Likoto xx, has more than 584 offspring, three of his licensed sons are listed in the Stallion Book I, over 51 mares have so far been awarded the title "State Premium Mare". The best-known offspring is the stallion Licotus, who has 56 victories and placements in the S class up to the Grand Prix.
