Destacado qualified for the Louisdor Prize in 2021 and started his first international GP season at the age of eight, placing himself several times with over 74%.

The light chestnut is characterized by large lines and significant bodyparts. His three equally excellent basic paces, confidence and motivation, uphill conformation and outstanding balance make him predestined for the dressage arena. Especially his natural, large and always balanced walk, gives him a unique position in the field of dressagebreeding. His offspring are of his outstanding type with a pronounced, muscled neck and a top line predestined for riding horses, big-framed conformation and with outstanding movement.

Descadero R, the Mecklenburg riding horse champion can also be found in the starting field at the German championship 2021 as a successful offspring of Destacado. His sire Desperados was one of the most successful dressage horses in the world and safe bet for a medal whenever he competed on the German championship team. His dam Libella had previously produced two licensed stallions Bellini (by Bentley) and First Diamond (by First Dance). Her sire Londonderry won his stallion licensing, was the four-year-old National Young Horse Champion in Warendorf, returning there with further successful performances in the subsequent years.

“God can’t give a horse a better walk than he gave Destacado. This stallion brings a lot with him. If he were a person, I would say that he always sits in the front row in the school class and always raises his hand as soon as the teacher has a question. A real model student. I am sure that we will see this horse at Grand Prix level in the near future. ”
