“An absolutely world-class horse with an incredible presence! A horse with great movements including the certain potential”, got the commentator Christoph Hess into raptures at the final of the Nürnberg Burg Trophy. With 72.97 percent Füchtels Floriscount took, under Oliver Oelrich, the second rank in the prestige duel for the best prospects in Germany and was unbeatable in the winners trophy with a round score of 9.0. In advance, he has already been awarded the title “VTV Dressage Stallion” due to his outstanding athletic performance that is proven with victories up to international Inter I competitions.
Right at the first publication of his breeding value by the German Equestrian Federation (FN) Floriscount OLD made it to be among the top one percent of the best German sires for rideability – and that with a record-breaking breeding value of 170 points with a safety factor of 91 percent. This confirms the high estimation of his first progeny with their outstanding basic gaits and their excellent rideability.
Floriscount OLD dominated the licensing sites in Germany with his first crops of colts. 13 sons have yet been licensed in Germany – two of them reached the premium ring in Verden. At the Hanoverian stallion market in 2015, one of his sons was sold for a top price of 105,000 Euro to the state stud Celle. In Great Britain he presented the Reserve Champion Stallion Cathmore Florian at the beginning of 2013. In 2014 he was represented by a licensed stallion in Verden, in Munich as well as in the Rhenish Wickrath.
In the Hanoverian Riding Horse Championship for four-year old mares and geldings Floriscount could be found three times in the final list of results. His daughter Forever Love became Vice Champion, the mares Friedegund and Fleur took seventh and ninth place. In the championship for four-year old stallions Ferdinand collected the ribbon for the fifth place and in the group of three-year old stallions the Floriscount descendant Fidelio B placed himself in the final competition.
Nearly a month later, Forever Love, who belongs to the eldest registered offspring of Floriscount OLD with 2010 as year of birth, was found on third place in the winning ceremony at the Bundeschampionat. In 2015 Forever Love competed in the WC for five-year old dressage horses in Verden.
Numerous mares achieved the state premium and won shows throughout the country. In Verden in 2013, the mare Fleur became Reserve Champion Mare at the Herwart von der Decken Show as well as Hanoverian Vice Champion. At the Bundeschampionat she placed fourth in the final of three-year old riding horses. In 2014 the mare Fräulein Hansemann was the celebrated Champion of the Hanoverian Friedrich-Jahncke-Show. At the Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Show in Rastede the Floriscount daughter Wega Contessa trotted in the Brillantring and the mare Rosche Flor and White Fleur have been qualified as well.
Floriscount OLD is also omnipresent with his foals at auction sites and shows throughout Europe. Der Lord became Champion Foal in Great Britain and the highest scoring Supreme Champion of the British Hanoverian Horse Society.
Floriscount OLD, a dark chestnut born in 2005, looks just like his grandsire, by Florencio - Donnerhall - Walldorf - Tin Rocco - Vollkorn xx, outshone clearly all others at his stallion performance test and won dominantly the dressage index with scores up to 10.0 for rideability and canter.
In 2010 and 2011 Floriscount OLD achieved numerous victories and placings in test for young dressage horses and qualified repeatedly for the Bundeschampionat. Under the saddle of Christoph Koschel he added his first placings in advanced level dressage classes at the age of only seven. In 2014, Oliver Oelrich continued his further training and collected right away victories and placings on international level. So this pair won both St. Georges Specials in Verden and therewith qualified for the final of the Nürnberg Burg Trophy as well as the Inter I competition in Nieuw en Sint Joosland/NED, where he placed second in the St. Georges and third in the Freestyle competition. Further placings with the best followed in Hagen and Balve. Floriscount OLD, who is member of the OLD Sport Promotion Team, is now on the way up to Grand Prix.
His sire Florencio I was World Champion for young dressage horses in 2004 and 2005 and won the VHO Trophy at St. Georges level. The 2004' Main Premium Winner with emphasis on dressage produced meanwhile over 40 licensed sons.
The dam, Elite Mare Arkona, presented the Premium Stallion Sandakan (by Sandro Hit), who is in breeding at the Swedish National Stud Flyinge, as well as the 2009' Mecklenburg Premium Stallion Füchtels Floriscount II, who was sold at the P.S.I. Auction.
The dam's sire Donnerhall is a legend and stands for the ideal synthesis of breeding and sport. In 2015 he is again among the top 15 of the world's best dressage sires according to the WBFSH (World Breeding Federation for Sport Horses).
The granddam, State Premium/Elite Mare Arwaldis, was Oldenburg Reserve Champion Mare in 1991.
Due to the Holsteiner sire Tin Rocco by Tin Rod xx and the legendary Vollkorn xx the pedigree is filled with the best refining genes.
Füchtels Floriscount OLD combines type, size and charisma with an excellent rideability and character as well as outstanding basic gaits what he passes resoundingly on to his progeny!
