The Reserve Champion in Westphalia
"Equipped with a lot of spirit and esprit. First quality paces in movement: Strength, impulsion, power and incredible freedom of the shoulders. Statuesque appearance, good muscle development, good maturity - an absolute eye-catcher", Westphalia's breeding director Thomas Münch was absolutely delighted in his commentary at the 2021 licensing in Münster-Handorf. Vogue was the audience’s favourite and was carried by their applause on his lap of honour as the newly crowned reserve winner.
His sire Vitalis was Champion Foal in the Netherlands in 2007, Reserve Champion of the NRW licensing in 2009, winner of the dressage index of his stallion performance test in 2010, placed at the World Championships and Pavo Cup final in 2012, Champion in the USA and again qualified for the World Championships with a record number of points in 2013 and victorious in the International Small Tour at only seven years old in 2014. He came back to Germany and, in 2016, he won the Burg Cup Final in Frankfurt and the "Stallion of the year" competition at Inter I level at the World Championships in Ermelo/NED. Almost 70 of his sons have been licensed, including our German Champion and Hanoverian Champion Vitalos. The first offspring are successful in Grand Prix, such as Valencia AS, who came second in the Louisdor Prize and Valesco (both ridden by Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier), who won the Grand Prix in Aachen and the Otto-Lörke Prize, Vamos Amigos/Cathrine Dufour/DEN, who was victorious in Compiègne and the German U25 Champion, Vinay NRW/Ellen Richter.
His dam St.Pr.St. Fräulein W has already produced Valdividan W (by Veneno), who is successful in young dressage horse competitions.
His dam's sire Fidertanz was Champion of the NRW licensing in 2004, Vice German Champion as a three-year-old, winner of his stallion performance test, qualified for the German Championships and then successfully competed in Grand Prix. In 2021, he was named "Hanoverian stallion of the year." He is currently seventh of the WBFSH ranking of the world's best dressage sires. He has produced around 60 licensed stallions, including Foundation/Matthias Alexander Rath/GER, Tannenhof’s Fahrenheit/Anja Plönzke/GER and Franziskus/Ingrid Klimke/GER, who are all victorious in Grand Prix dressage competitions. His offspring are quite versatile, as proven by Finest Fellow, who is competing up to CCIO4* with Elena Otto-Erley, and Fairytale, who became European Vice Champion with Anna Lena Schaaf/GER in Malmö/SWE.
In the pedigree follows the current number one amongst the best dressage sires worldwide, our exceptional sire Sandro Hit. In the fourth generation is Monte Carlo I, who sired, amongst others, My Fair Lady NRW, who came sixth in the World Cup Final with Hubertus Schmidt, won the Freestyle of the CHIO Aachen and was placed second at the German Championships.
His great-grand-dam St.Pr.St. Monterey also produced the advanced (S) level dressage horse Sweet Diamond (by Sandro Hit) and the mare Right on Time W (by Rosario), who produced the licensed stallion Bel-Air (by Belissimo M).
The advanced (S) level dressage horses Montelino (by Monte Carlo I), Captain’s Girl (by Captain) and Gucci Accenti (by Goldrausch II) also descend from the dam line.
