On the dam’s side, Grøntangs Le Fonzie comes from a strong and performance-proven dam line, in which highly graded mares and successful sport horses feature throughout several generations.
His dam, Ball Room Diva (BRDH) by Fürstenball, completed her performance test, was selected for the Danish Warmblood Elite Show and was awarded a Bronze Medal. Ball Room Diva has already produced offspring that have distinguished themselves in sport, including Grøntang Livia, who competed in the Blue Hors Dressage Championship as a four-year-old.
His second dam, Bella Donna, is an Elite Mare ERDH who also demonstrated her own qualities in sport. As a four-year-old, she finished second in a DSA dressage qualifier and advanced to the semi-final for four-year-old dressage horses. She has also proven her value as a broodmare and is, among others, the dam of Delicious, who achieved several impressive placings in the dressage championships as both a four- and five-year-old and later earned B-horse status in dressage.
Grøntangs Le Fonzie therefore comes from a dam line in which a Bronze Medal Mare, an Elite Mare and proven dressage performances are found within the immediate pedigree.
