The horses are based at Brech Stud in the Ukraine. The transfer location is the headquarters of the Hannoveraner Verband in Verden. In addition to the purchase price, the buyer has to pay a transportation fee of EUR 600.00 net and EUR 100.00 gross export costs for the transportation of the horse from the Ukraine to the transfer location. The Ukrainian VAT (20%) will be refunded by the Hanoverian Association after arrival of the horses for buyers within the EU and after presentation of the export documents. When importing to Germany, 19% import sales tax is also payable at the customs office, which is charged directly to the buyer by the customs office (business buyers can declare the import sales tax as input tax).
