Chess Cor brings the legendary and valuable Caretino-blood to the table, bloodlines responsible for many of the most successful jumping horses in the world. The sire Caretino competed at the very top level, first under Bo Kristoffersen and later under Ludger Beerbaum. He then continued his career in breeding where he was equally as successful having produced more than 60 approved stallions and a vast number of jumping horses competing in international S-class. His most famous son is undoubtly Casall that under Rolf-Göran Bengtsson has had fantastic success in international championships, Global Champions Tour and the World Cup. In 2014 they were ranked as the top horse/rider combination in the world. The dam Lepata produced two offspring in international 1.50 m and two in 1.34-1.40 m level. Granddam Brame produced three offspring in 1.35 m-1.40 m level and great granddam Junda produced one offspring at 1.35 m and two approved sons in Germany.
Chess Cor produced Clarissa 155 that jumped in international 1.50 m and two offspring at 1.30 m -1.40 m. His young offspring have excellent traits for jumping and have received top scores at the YH – tests in SWB. Chessi's Alvin HG was recently awarded a 10 for character and temperament for jumping at the 3-year-old test.
The dam Quinara competed in 1.30 m jumping and jumped in the World YH Championships for jumping horses. She is bred by Rolf-Göran Bengtsson who successfully rode and competed the sire Quintero for many years. Quinara produced Cavalaire (by Casallco) that sold at the Swedish Select Horse Sales jumping horse auction last year.
The granddam Fatal Attraction (by Ahorn Z) produced Fancy Attraction (by Leuthen) in 1.30 m and Intrepid Leonardo (by Levisto Z) in 1.35 m.
Great granddam Fame (by Modesto) produced Leasing (by Lenski) that was awarded 9-10 for jumping at the YH – test.
