Three times 10!

“The stallion trots almost arrogantly” and the jury commented on their "goose bumps feeling" at the final of the German Championships about our stallion Vitalos. In trot, “incredible cadence, with rhythmical movement that goes through his entire body and always present from the first step he took” - 10! In canter, “an uphill trend, with a lot of jump under the centre of gravity and freedom of the shoulders and in profile, one canter stride is like the next even in the corners and on both leads” - 10! In walk, “good freedom of the shoulders, always pushing from the hindquarters, pulling forward and in a clear four-beat rhythm” - 9! The contact was so precise, "it couldn't be better for a four-year-old horse", which was also confirmed by the test rider - 10! And the "typey, masculine conformation" rounded off the overall picture very well - 9.0! With an overall score of 9.6, ridden by Leonie Richter, Vitalos won the gold medal in the ranking of the four-year-old stallions, as he had done before at the Hanoverian Championships in Verden. He completed his stallion performance test in Denmark as the winner of his age group, and also received the dream score of 10.

Vitalis was Champion Foal in the Netherlands in 2007, Reserve Champion of the NRW licensing in 2009, winner of the dressage index of his stallion performance test in 2010, placed at the World Championships and Pavo Cup final in 2012, Champion in the USA and again qualified for the World Championships with a record number of points in 2013 and victorious in the International Small Tour at only seven years old in 2014. He came back to Germany and, in 2016, he won the Burg Cup Final in Frankfurt and the "Stallion of the year" competition at Inter I level at the World Championships in Ermelo/NED. He has produced almost 70 licensed stallions. The first offspring are successful in Grand Prix dressage competitions, such as Valencia AS, who came second in the Louisdor Prize and Valesco (both ridden by Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier), who won the Grand Prix in Aachen and the Otto-Lörke Prize, Vamos Amigos/Cathrine Dufour/DEN, who was victorious in Compiègne and the German U25 Champion, Vinay NRW/Ellen Richter.

His dam's sire De Niro, successful at Grand Prix level at the age of eight and winner of the Dressage Derby in Hamburg with riding master Dolf-Dietram Keller, led the WBFSH ranking list of the best dressage sires worldwide for six years. There are no championships in which his offspring, including Desperados FRH/Kristina Bröring-Sprehe, Dablino/Anabel Balkenhol, D'Agostino FRH/Fabienne Müller-Lütkemeier, Delgado/Beatriz Ferrer-Salat/ESP, Voice/Edward Gal/NED, Deep Impact/Severo Jurado Lopez/ESP and Darco of De Niro ZS CH/Charlotte Lenherr/SUI, do not fight for medals. Over 250 advanced (S) level horses are registered in Germany alone and have won over 3.2 million Euros in prize money for their father. With over 100 licensed sons, the 2008 Hanoverian Stallion of the Year has a lasting influence on breeding.

Wanderbursch II and Askan appear in the third and fourth generations.

His great-grand-dam Antje also produced the mare Waleska (by Wolkentanz I), who is the dam of the licensed stallion Destination MS (by Destano).

The stallions Allegro (by Augustinus xx) and Fabriano (by Wendulan) also descend from the Hanoverian line of Aina.
